Partners for Incentives

October 28th, 2008 admin

We have recently partnered with Partners for Incentives in Cleveland.  We now have a combined experience of 62 years in the incentive industry.

What does that mean for you?  It gives us the capabilities to expand our services for your challenges in the incentive and recognition needs of your company.   It is paramount that we provide solutions that are cost effective and give you the results needed.  We have a team in marketing and sales that deliver the right program to get the right solution for you.

The economy does not change the challenges; a company still needs to move a product, still needs to engage employees, and still needs to create a positive, responsible environment where people are valued and rewarded for creative service.

Remember that our team is a creative and personal resource for solutions.

Good Taste Wine & Food Shop Incentive Destination

August 25th, 2008 admin

Seth Godin wrote a marketing book, “Purple Cow,” and in it he says, “You’re either a purple cow or you’re not. You’re either remarkable or invisible. Make your choice.”

Good Taste Wine & Food Shop is a remarkable destination. Chris and Robin Rose have created an environment where you are asked, “What can we do for you?”

We chose Good Taste for an award fulfillment destination because of their creativity, service, food quality, and interest in providing a stunning, beautiful, affordable dining experience. Creating exceptional memories with Good Taste as an incentive award is a great ROI.

Katie Palmer will be working with us to help create adaptable company events with the cooking school, the chef’s table, and the “great room” facility. Good Taste is the kind of place where they do whatever you want because they have a different approach to customer service called flexibility.

Katie says, “Anything you want to do, we will make it work for you.”

We are proud to be working with Good Taste Wine & Food Shop in Medina, Ohio.

Workplace Bullying

June 29th, 2008 admin

There have been several recent articles about bullying in the workplace. Some of the bullying tactics are unfounded rumors, job aggression, verbal abuse, or humiliating conduct. A workplace bully is defined as anyone that undermines the legitimate business interests of a company.

What kind of leadership is needed in a company to stop such behaviors? And what exactly does this behavior cost a company? First, behavior modification begins with management. Embracing motivational material and developing influence as a management leader will encourage the desired behavior in your business. It is important to offer protection and compassion in the workplace. Second, it is impossible to determine how much this bullying behavior costs a company in lost revenue with employee turnover and stale growth.

When we provide a safe work environment for people, they are more eager to share ideas, take risks, “think outside the box,” and challenge the status quo. It is a productive problem solving and exciting workplace when people are not afraid of sharing their ideas because they will not be criticized, only encouraged. The company benefits and employee’s positive behavior should be rewarded.
